Welcome to my Myspace profile joint! For those who would really like to know my Hip-Hop background its the second paragarph down below. For those who really don't care for alot of reading, this is for you.I started rapping over a decade (10yrs) ago. I've met a few people along the way. I'm getting old as hell, but I'm still the hottest mc to have never been on BET. Long story short, when you hear about me in stores, go buy my sh*t!
I started rhyming in 1988. I had no choice, because hip-hop had taken all of the attention off of the dozens, or as DC. niggaz called it "joaning". I was the best at the dozens, and hip-hop battle seemed a lot like rhyming jokes to me. Once I caught on to the rhyme scheme and breath control,it was nothing. I was crushing local veterians. My first written rhyme was recorded, and was one rhyme out of many that was pressed and heavily promoted. I was one of three members in the group "CPR". We had a small tour, that would have made the chitterling circuit look like Micheal Jacksons world tour. We did shows with The Real Roxanne, YZ, Naughty by Nature, KRS 1, Champ Mc from the WU girls, YG's, and Tommy Gun. I was a young'n from NC, I swore I was doing it big.
In 1990 we were introduced to Bad Boys Tony Dofat, at the time he had a label called TD Hype Records. He introduced us to Heavy D. and Hev put us on a 5 barrow recreation park tour ,or some shit, with his too wide for her height, sister. Hev had something big fall through for him and had to fly out West. All of the promotions and fianancing stopped not long after. The group fell off, and I fell back into the street life.
1995, two years later, I received a phone call from cousin and homie Darrel (Small World) McCoy from the group Southern Hospitality. So Ho was being managed by NBA's Kenny Anderson, at the time. Smalls wanted to know if I was interested in being on a compulation album, headed by the Platnum producer Mark Sparks and the Kakalaka Foundation. Sparks and The God Laquan, had done beats for alot of big names. "Shoop" for Salt N Peppa was one of his most recognized pieces. I was definitly with that. I spent several months in Charlotte NC, starting in the early spring of 1996, recording and helping promote the album "Kakalaka Raw". There I worked with Nice and Smooth,Pourto Rock, Sunshine Anderson, Anthony Hamilton, The God Laquan and several other striving artist. Just like what happened with Hev, in 1997, Sparks received a nice deal out west. The Kakalaka movement is still in effect, but in so many different forms
