I am a typical girl when it comes to hanging with my friends and shopping and stuff like that...I have the best husbandin the world (Ivan--I love you!!!) and the most wonderful baby girl Rosa. She was born on September 25 and I am just enjoying spending as much time with those two as possible!!I am attempting to learn to speak Spanish, also courtesy of Ivan...and I am active in my church...I work everyday, which is definitley NOT cool now because all I want to do is spend time at home with my baby girl!

I'll admit it...I used to be one of those "glued to MTV" chicks. Now, I am proud to say--I've been reformed!!! If you don't sound original, you ain't playin in my stereo...I love many types of music. All genres have something for me...I love Latino music (Dyablo is awesome) and Joan Sebastian...courtesy of mi esposo...But my collection is incredibly diverse...
I love chick flicks...even though they are predictable and corny sometimes! I'll watch those and have a good cry, but I try to limit those! Anything that can make me laugh also gets major points from me! I love indie films and foreign films...basically anything intersting!
I am a Jeopardy junkie!! Don't ask...I still don't know why. I also just dig the whole trivia show genre :~) Other than that, I love CSI...all of 'em (New York, Miami, Vegas) and the Dog Whisperer is my current fave!
"Tuesdays with Morrie" has to be one of the best books I've ever read (and yes, I cried). There is something really special about a book that can make you really appreciate your life and all you have. Other than that, I love anything that can keep my attention longer than the first chapter...then I know it's something worth reading!
My mom has got to be the strongest woman I have ever met. I have learned so much about life and love and picking the right person (and how to AVOID the wrong ones!!) from seeing her mistakes...and even though I don't show my appreciation towards her as much as I should, she is definitley one worth calling a hero. I only hope that I do half as good a job in the mom department as she has. I still don't know what I'm doing sometimes with my daughter, but I do know how much I love her, and now I know why my mom has worked so hard to make sure that I knew I was taken care of and loved...I want to do the same for my baby girl!!!
