At 23 he has delivered more lyrically with a meaning then some rappers before him have done in a lifetime. The album gives hope to what was being deemed as a failing hip hop. In a successful attempt to separate him self from rappers past and present, Spade manages to give you songs that make you dance while educating you on life. His music not only makes you feel good, it makes you think. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------- The beats are seductive, the lyrics philosophical, which makes Spade contagious. In a course of 20 minutes, Spade can make you theorize on life like Jay-Z, remember your roots and where you came from like Kanye, and then flip the table and make you bounce like Busta Rhymes or David Banner. But he prefers not to be compared to anyone else. What I do is just me, Im not biting off anyone, Im not trying to do anything but speak the truth according to Spade He gives credit where credit is due and lyrically was in tuned with rappers such as Nas and Mac of No Limit. Not to be confused with traditional Down South rappers Spade goes on a mission to educate people that listen to his music about life. Grateful for his progress, Spade hopes that others will walk away learning not just about him but about themselves. Life is what you make of it.what people need to realize is that everybody struggles. Everybody hurts, everybody cries. No one persons struggle is bigger than the next. In the midst of all the chaos Spade reconvened on the fact that tomorrow is promised to no one. Unable to grasp what had occurred or find the words to say to express his hurt and anger Spade retreated to the booth and produced the instant hit Respect Me. Its for everybody that lost somebody and anybody that lost everything.
