Since I live in Alaska I go snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, jet-skiing, and fishing. I've broken my collarbone from jet-skiing but that hasn't stopped me! I got a cabin up north that I use frequently during the winter and summer. Indoors I do like watching movies, both at home and at the theatre. Partying is great too, but then again everyone would agree with that. All in all, I love being outdoors, but I also enjoy being inside quite a bit too (especially during the winter when it is COLD).
I'm using MySpace to keep in touch with my military friends to make sure they're doing ok, as well as meeting new people in college.
Music, ah yes. Techno and Trance are good, my favorites being DJ Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Burren. I like ska, favorite band there is Less Than Jake. Other awesome bands are Disturbed, Dope, Drowning Pool, Fort Minor, Godsmack, Ill Nino, etc etc etc. Country music? Eh, not so much. I have a large variety in musical taste, and definitely enjoy the modern-day hip hop music (for the most part).
Action movies first and foremost with my favorite one being Starship Troopers ("Nuke 'em Rico!"). I really like comedies, and unfortunately I'm not too into horror movies, but I'll watch one if it gets good reviews.
Family Guy, The Simpsons, Nip/Tuck. I do not watch tv that much, but when I do I'm usually watching either the Military Channel, news, or some movie on HBO.
Michael Crichton is great. I've read several of his books, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, and Rising Sun. Tom Clancy is an outstanding author, I definitely love the detail and content he puts into his novels. Stephen King has some pretty good books as well.
The people I consider to be heroes are those military personnel who gave their lives so that we could continue to enjoy our freedom. I salute them for their service to our country, thank you. My special thanks goes out to the members of the SFOD-A and SFOD-D community, you guys get shit done. "Some gave all, all gave some".
