About Me
I am currently living in Cleveland, Tn, where I am originally from and I will be rehearsing/practicing music and acting and working out to stay in shape, while not giving up quite yet on the entertainment industry. I am also spending quite a bit of time singing and networking some in Nashville, Tn. However, not having much luck with a record deal or acting roles, I'm considering going back to school to become a doctor, or at least a physical therapist/psychologist, etc. Actually, I have already done a little work over the past years in entertainment, such as printwork modeling (Advantage Models & Talent of Nashville, Tn), appearing in a music video (Alecia Marie in LA), commercial, and extensive travel with some musical artists( such as: Michael English during '99-'01 and making of 'Heaven to Earth' cd produced by Brown Bannister/ production work at the TBN studio in Santa Ana, Ca) as well. Recently, I was working as a production assistant for "Talkshow with Spike Feresten" on FOX, and helped with Andrews Intl. at the Kodac Theatre for the "American Idol" finalle, but I have not really landed any major acting or singing work yet to break into the scene. However, I am very thankful for God allowing me the opportunity to get to participate in all of the above that I have mentioned and have had some great times on this crazy journey of life, so thanks to all of those who have given me these opportunities. I had felt in the recent past, that Nashville, at one point, outside of recording and past experiences, was a closed door for me, and is why I decided to put effort into Hollywood, where I believed I could take another step forward for all that I have been pursuing (film/music). But, recently, I've realized Nashville is still a great place to be to put forth effort in being heard and getting my material and voice out there. I plan on spending as much time as possible in Music City in the upcoming months. My love for baseball is still very strong, since I'm in the best shape of my life, (still running a 4.3 40)and played since I was 2 up thru college, and also just had the opportunity to travel to Central America (and plan to go again in the future), where I was a part of an outreach program from Central Florida called "Honor the Father", and played with some ex- pro baseball players against Nicaragwa's olympic team in June. Of course, the first and foremost reason of this trip was to show and share the love of Christ, and to care for those in need, and we were able to give food to the hungry and we were also able to hold small baseball clinics for free on a couple different days. I had recently been asked, also, to play with a semi-pro team in the Huntington Beach area which was very cool, but unfortunately fell through, and It looks like I will not be playing on that team.....Golf is another important love of mine and have been trying to master this very frustrating game since junior high, and although I havn't had alot of time to play, I can still manage to keep an average score of somewhere in the high 70's to low 80's with an average drive distance between 270-310....enough of me rambling about sports! Although it appears as if I am sold out mainly to music and singing, I am a better actor than I am a singer. I have also always enjoyed comedy, as well. The thought of making someone smile or laugh is very fulfilling, and I have been doing that, although off camera, for years and years. While being introduced, recently, to a number of spectacular acting coaches, and vocal coaches, I feel that at this particular time, the classes of John Homa,Aaron Speiser, and Susan Rumor are best for me, and I am very thankful to have been introduced to them and to have them recommended .....Now, back to music, I see myself mostly on the rock side of the pop industry, but I'm not afraid to let in a little of my country roots, as you can hear in "mayday" (thanks to the direction of Jonathan Smith;'www.therealjonsmith.com'; 'therealjonsmith production co.' in Nashville,TN). I would like to say a special thanks to Jonathan and also Tyler Orr (First Street Studio) in Cleveland,TN for allowing me the opportunity to work with them and also for collaborating with me and putting forth their incredible engineering/production skills and creativity to help me get this 4 song project together! I also want to thank them and the other musicians for sharing their talents with my tracks and coloring in the tunes with fabulous playing! While, for now, knowing and realizing I am unsigned to any major label, I will have to continue going under my own idea for an independent label (Kaleyedoscope Music Group) and find the right talents out there who can help me further my pursuit of love for music. I wish to continue using my pro-tools files to finalize these 4 tracks I already have until radio-quality has been achieved, regardless of whether or not they will ever actually make it to the radio. Plus, I plan to work on other songs, also,I have written to one day soon, or later, have an entire album completed. *Please note that anything I've mentioned above that I feel I can do well, or that I love to do, means nothing if I'm not giving God the credit for allowing me to have the health everyday when I wake up to go out and exercise these hobbies/talents and I don't place myself any higher up on the list of importance in this life than anyone next to me.. We all have a purpose I believe, whether short or long, and can hopefully do something important with our lives to not only benefit someone else around us, but hopefully enjoy something in this lifetime...
