Since this day the sound and face of the band has changed quiet strong. Leadsinger, bassplayer and Bandleader - Bluhm - is the only member of the original crew. With his exceedingly imposing charisma and his ear-deafening Screams, on the stage, he is the absolute signboard of the band.
Guitarist Andy is the second-oldest member the band and has enriched Banner since November, 1998. And it is also he who stamps his diverse, powerful and yet sometimes very extravagant guitar-riffs. It is decisively the banner sound.
After several years in which the occupation and the sound of Banner changed constantly, Sunny at the violin and drummer September joined in Winter 2004.
With the beauty of Sunny's melodic vocals and her melancolic Violinmelodies, "BOW" are showing their quiet and melodic facets. But these also harmonise ideally with the heavy and fast songs, like "Ambush", "In the eye of the storm" and "Cursed", which are songs from an earlier period.
And September, the Drummer, brought a new Groove into the Band . He combines rumbling Metal doublebass drums with interesting and inovating Rock-Grooves.
And that is the core mixture of Heavy-Death-Metal, Gothic-rock and Shock'n'Roll just perfect.
These new songs, whom are written by the four, are a great mixture of a sound of the past decade, The Banner of Wrath Songs like "Gone", "Dying Time" , the pure instrumentalsong - "Red Wine", and all of their "classics" are all recorded on their first album, which comes out this winter.
An album like it more controversially and more diverse could not be. Just as different as the characters of the band.
And Live: "A visual experience with a lot Ass-Kickin' Metal and a well-arranged serving piece of Rock'n'Roll" -(Necroweb)
