Decimation was formed in 1991 by Josh and Greg, after several changes in the member line up, the group finally reached completion with a severely intense drummer, Steve. Three years later, in 1994 Decimation added Kevin (Rez), a second guitarist.
Decimation took the local music scene by storm with their very unique hard hitting music. But in 1999 Decimation decided it was time for a break. Josh, Greg and Rez went on to join another band; Dark Disciple.
In the Winter of 2004 Josh felt he needed a change, and following in spring of 2006 Greg parted ways with Dark Disciple. With their decisions to leave came the reformation of Decimation in Spring/Summer 06. Adding Rez back to the group in late Aug.
Decimation has been hard at work redoing old favorites and busy writing new and harder shit than ever before.
