Spud Baby

About Me

Listen up kids.

Twangy guitars, tribal drums, pounding bass lines, heavenly singing and ivory tickling beyond compare are just some of the things that someone might one day say about top "pop & rock" band SPUD BABY. Pete, Phil, Delboy, Tony Bontempi, Sam, Pauline and Nichola Jane Preston make up what some would say are the finest band to stagger out of the Malden Manor in years. Theyve been in other bands too, The Menace Dancers, Depature, Vic Austins Sonic Hell and The Kites are just some of them. ITVs Trevor McDonald once said "SPUD BABY ROCK", and he wasnt wrong. Recent headlining gigs with disco divas Sensation, full metal thrashers Maniac, mysteriously named Random and the rockin James Hunter Trio (Howlin Wilf) raised a lot of money for charity, with the help of MC "Magic" Paul. SPUD BABY are currently recording some new stuff, and re-recording some old stuff, and hope to release this into the big wide world very soonCheers, Daisy xxx

A bit disappointed today, no newspaper coverage

After reading through all the newspapers today, I haven't managed to fine a single Spud Baby reference. Was yesterday a one off I wonder ?
