I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm an aged metal fan who remembers thrash when it was new! Back in the day I had hair down to my arse and could fit into the obligatory drain pipe jeans that tapered into massive Hi-Tech high tops. Nowadays, my rapidly greying thatch is a number 2, but I still haunt as many gigs as I can get time off work for, sometimes to review for metalteamuk.net whilst clutching one of my trusty Lumix cameras & my knees are known far and wide from the fact I wear baggy shorts all year round. Hey, my job makes me dress up smartly in shirt, tie, trousers and polished boots, be responsible, and try and sort out the lives of rejects from the Jeremy Kyle show! In my own time I wear shorts and t-shirts and go looking for the next drink up with friends, laugh, and mosh pit! I get a giggle turning up in queues for concerts in t-shirts older then most of the audience; I treasure my original 80's metal shirts! Okay, you get the theme: old; thrash; metal; scrumpy; and out for a laugh!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Beyond my mates, and we meet up when we can, I'll assume "I'd Like to Meet" is a variation on the old "Fantasy Dinner Party." My guests would have to include HP Lovecraft, Willy Rushton, Tom Baker, Kevin Smith, Bill Hicks, Akira Kurasawa, Alan Moore, Steven Fry, a large quantity of scumpy, and my far better half Dr McSquirrell! The meal would be at Soho's Garlic and Shots, washed down with many cocktails from Temple Lane. I know, one's in London, one's in Dundee, but I split my life between 2 cities. I'd have to add the much lamented George Carlin to the guest list; watch his HBO specials of the last 30 years and be inspired.
