Born on May 25, 1980 in Hollywood, Mastermind is definitely a star. He has since lived his life throughout the streets of South Gate, East Los Angeles, and in the Eastern Los Angeles Suburb of West Covina. Mastermind is a street-wise and college educated hustler/rapper, but his greatest passion is for music. A bond was formed before he could even hold an instrument. In 1991, he began writing and rapping. Raw lyrics, bang'n beats, and a clean-cut style all quickly became Mastermind trademarks. He combines West Coast gangsta rap sound (instrumentals courtesy of his brother, Big Surge) with unique rhyming schemes, and vivid lyrics for a recipe thats 100% original.His music has appeared on several independent films (available at Blockbuster Video).
