About Me
While driving down east 10th street away from downtown Indy passing flashing cop lights, street whores, boomin bass systems, violent conflicts, and random people sleeping in store entrances; You would never expect to run into one of the best, if not "the best" hole in the wall bars in Indianapolis. Just outside of the crime ridden area lies a great place to go for good music, good people, cheap drinks, and an array of interesting personalities. Over the years, J. Clydes has become home grounds for alot of the Indianapolis music scene, with the Emerson Theater right next door you may find weekends are prime for running into great bands from all over the country along with a ton of music lovers. Considering the bar has been open for so many years it takes on a vintage look, making you feel like you've walked into the 1950's. J. Clydes is on the corner of 10th Street and Bosart Avenue and is open Monday through Saturday 4pm to 3am and Sundays 3pm to 12:30am. Come drink with us!
