About Me

Cinema3 was a collaborative project that formed in Los Angeles, CA in the Spring of 2003. Anson Jackson , Jean-Jacques Schoch , and MadDog ~ driven by a deep desire to jam, create and perform their blend of deep funk grooves, jazz-inspired cinematic textures ~ also featured special guest vocalists and rappers.
This power trio (Guitar, Bass/Keys, Drums) has a passion for mixing it up with social statements, hard grooves, and trip-hop escapades. They have been known to perform at select private parties in the Los Angeles Area.
Just wrapping up their first CD, Cinema3 is planning a release date in late 2008.

MadDog's Studio Party - Gallery Shots - Marina del Rey, CA - 5/6/06
These "Gallery Shots" were taken in Dg's "Hall of Inspiration."

After recording "The Bodyshop Sessions," Cinema3 anxiously awaited the opening of Dg's (aka: Mad Dog) new studio in Marina del Rey. After several months of planning, building and setting up the studio, the rewards of Rodger Larsen's amazing work was evident by the splendid space he created.

Many talented musicians, vocalists and friends were Special Guests at the opening including Annice Graves, MC Chore, Bree, Ikkor (the Wolf), Jodie Roffers, Taylor Whitney, Malcolm Stewart, Sheila Hirst, Ron & Belinda Holm, Michelle Williams, Monina, Phil, Robert, Roy Moore, Michael, Forrest, Larry Winters and Max, to name a few.
