An eye for an eye, and the whole world would be blind -Khalil Gibran

About Me

I'm a pretty simple person now, not like how I used to be. The most important things in my life are family, friends and my career, and oh yeah... my little puppy, Michi (if you haven't already heard me gush about how cute he is).
Right now I'm extremely focused on my getting my career going. However, I just got denied from Sierra and ARC's RN programs and now I'm waiting for June to come by for the final word on if I got in this time around. *crosses her fingers* I'm also going to have to take 2 more pre-reqs @ Yuba College so I can apply there; I hear it's waiting list situation and a hell of a lot better than lottery. Unfortunately, with the way life is, I'm considering a second potential career in radiology. It's only unfortunate because I REALLY want to be an RN but since working @ RAS, being an MRI/CT tech hasn't sounded like a bad idea. Two paths are better than one in this situation.
On a more personal note, my parents are divorced; my mom lives up here with my younger brother, Jason, and my dad remarried and moved back down to Southern California. I also have a step brother, too! He's a smart, sweet guy.
Although I'm not as well traveled as some, I love to do it. I've been to South Korea and it was one of those unforgettable experiences in life. I'm very proud of my Korean heritage, plus we have the best food in the world in my humble opinion.
I'm just waiting for my life to change after I get into the RN program (or Rad tech) so I can travel for a couple years, get married, settle down and have the family I've always dreamed of.

My Interests

I don't think people know that I'm a closet nerd, even those around me might not even think twice about it. I'm fascinated with the science of Microbiology, virology, bacteriology, and DNA. When I become an RN, I will probably try to fund my own laboratory and conduct my own experiments for research purposes. The inspiration is all thanks to my Micro prof Dr. Sasha Warren @ Sierra college even though I got a B in the class =)
Hip-hop
My Korean heritage
Dog training... I heart Cesar Milan
Nintendo video games; Xbox and PS3 might take a little more getting used to
I'm a tech gadget freak! I keep up on the newest cell phones, PDA's, digital cameras, MP3 players hehe even though I can barely afford them.

I'd like to meet:

My ancestors, Chris Garver (so he can tat me up!), Carl Linnaeus, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale, Cesar Milan (so he can train Michi!), Bill O'Reilly (so I can kick him in the nuts), Murs, Rob & Big, Bob MarleyView All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment
