I sing other people's songs for a living....a good living. I guess I'm pretty good at it, or so I've been told, and it keeps me so busy that I don't have the time to write my own. Can you find the irony in that, or is it just me? Oh well, if you have a request, write it on a twenty, stick it in the jar, and I'll sing it.
Well, since I don't look like me or sing my own songs, it would appear that I have no identity. Untrue. I'm a well spoken, well read, honest, hard working, son of an ex-preacher and an Oklahoma City Public Schools teacher. I've been around the block and I have plenty to say (Just ask me or buy me a couple of drinks) I've just never been very good at putting my thoughts into verse. My band ReVeL is an original project, and one that I'm very proud and privileged to be associated with. And yeah, I've been to Los Angeles, done a little acting and modeling. I've made a little cash with this mug, so the people in the first paragraph can stick it!
Let's see....I'm thirty years old, 6'3", weigh a buck-seventy (Ringin' wet, as they say), and wear a size 11.5 shoe. I drive any number of broken down vehicles that my family owns, while a perfectly tuned '85 1/2 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade sits in storage and I do own my home (I just don't live there). I am 100% Heterosexual, so I'm NOT "Bi" (If there is such a thing) and I do NOT "Swing" unless we're talking about playground big toys! (Or a really bad 90's fad) I like women, one in particular, and she knows who she is! ;)
All seriousness aside (joke)....I'm generally a fun person to be around. I love to hang out and have a good time. That is one of the perks of what I do. I'm very blessed with family, friends, and the network of musicians that I'm fortunate enough to play and sing alongside. Come see us if you ever have time. Contrary to what anyone may think or say, it means a lot!
