a few short facts... i grew up in south louisiana. i miss it like crazy sometimes. i've lived in a total of 7 states so far, the most recent being here in georgia. i'm a rockstar in my own mind, or at least in some past life, i'm sure. i hate wearing shoes. i'm slowly, happily getting used to living with my boyfriend - kind of an adjustment after living alone for the past 6 years. it helps that i think he's totally amazing. & hot (did i mention he's hot??) haha. i'm a total beach girl. right now i'm going thru withdrawals for sand, sun, & waves. i can be girly when i need to be, but i don't own a single purse. i love watching lsu & saints football. i drive a 4x4 jeep that longs to get stuck in the mud so it can show off. i have a chocolate lab named dusty. he doesn't really know he's a dog, so if you meet him, please don't tell him. i hope that i am most often the kind of person he thinks i am. i go scuba diving on most of my vacations (best so far was belize). i think i learn more from my patients than i could ever teach them. i now believe in karma (& fortune cookies if they're in my favor). i love the rain, especially on a tin roof. i'd rather be on vacation than anywhere else. i've learned that sometimes you have to trust your instincts, even if what you want doesn't come to you right away. some things in life turn out to be worth a longer wait than you think you could ever survive.
