Hello, my name is Sam Macklin. I just graduated from Sweet Home High School. Class of 2009! I'm about 5'10" and I am very athletic. I played football and competed in track and field. Football used to be my favorite sport, I played Wide Receiver and Defensive Back. I wish I could have one more year to play because this season wasn't what I had hoped for. Last year in track our boys team won state, and this year we also won state again. Back to back, and this year we won by 33 points, which is a lot if you didn't know. I qualified for state in the 100, 200, and our 4x100 relay also qualified. I ran on the 4x400 relay in the finals at state, we were ranked last, but we got first and we broke our school record. It was a great group of guys, but I wouldn't have gotten that opportunity without the help of my teammate Sean Potter, who was new to our track team. He ran the race in the prelims, giving me the chance to run, I thank him a lot. I wanted to run at LCC, but I wasn't fast enough. I'm going to be taking general classes at LBCC in the winter term and hope to become a chiropractor. I love my girlfriend Jessika Stewart. She's amazing and I love being with her. She's everything I could ask for, and I know I can count on her for anything. She's perfect to me. I love you.
