Other recent work includes backing vocals for 'Skint & Demoralised', 'The Levellers' and 'Paul Steel' as well as lead & backing vocals in functions bands 'Funk Soul Sister' and 'SoulTown'. Originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, I’ve completed Grades 1 to 8 singing exams and sung both individually and in choirs before moving over to Brighton in 2004. While studying a Vocals Degree at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, I was fortunate enough to go on tour with Carleen Anderson, sing as part of a choir backing pop group Liberty X on ITV’s Madonna Mania and vocally accompany the Stomp! Lost and Found Orchestra, as well as work with lots of amazing musicians.
