We refer to music as the disease in our family. Sometimes I go by Roo. I began writing my freshman year of college. This is when I decided that I didn't want to be a nurse anymore. I moved to Nashville a month after graduating from Ole Miss in June of 2004. I had recently completed my first independent release, And Then Its Gone, which was recorded at Mr. Lemons Studio by producer Neilson Hubbard. I signed a publishing deal writing for Big Loud Shirt Industries Feb. of '06. I love Nashville- feels like home.
