I like books; books are neat. So, I obviously like reading; I don’t just stare at my books or hurl them at people. Feminism, even though most of my friends are dudes who are pretty sexist and offensive. Cats and kittens. Birds and turtles. Animals in general, really. Who doesn’t like animals? Record stores and purchasing items in them. Wearing scarves; I freaking love scarves. And hoodies, wearing a hoodie is like getting a hug all day long. Shoes. Going to movies and seeing local bands. Cooking; I’m an excellent cook. I really like the 70’s, both the decade and the temperature. Tea. Amassing a toy collection that is the envy of all I know. Avocados. Zombie jokes. Tarot. Yoga. Ladybugs. Pajamas. Getting tattoos/tattoo snobbery. Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Garden gnomes. Buttons. Toe socks. Juicy Fruit gum. Diet Coke. Found items/curiosities. People watching. Craftiness. Taking pictures. Finally, uncomfortable laughter. ..
Henry Rollins: I want him to sit next to me on a park bench and share some M&M's and tell me I'm pretty. Kiefer Sutherland and Eddie Izzard for the same reason. Eddie Izzard is hot, fact...I don't care what anyone says, that man in a dress is sexy. I'd like to meet Sancho and know if Scott Baio is Sancho. I'd also like to meet the Guerilla Girls and the ladies of Code Pink because they rock my toe socks. I'd like to meet Michael Moore; I like his style and that he's a great big fat guy. This is kind of a weird question.

Johnny Cash, Memphis Minnie, Blind Willie Johnson, Robert Johnson, The Detroit Cobras, The 5,6,7,8’s, ABBA, Elvis, Parliament Funkadelic, Queen, The Clash, The B-52’s, The Ramones, David Bowie, The Flaming Lips, Minor Threat, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Dead Milkmen, Grandaddy, Say Hi to Your Mom, Tori Amos, Macy Gray, Pink Floyd, Bjork, assorted 60’s garage bands. That’s a really weird list. How about this, here’s what I won’t listen to: new country, Christian rock, rap-rock, and blues bands manned by white guys who like sports bars. That’s not the blues. If you’re white and you don’t live in the woods or in a swamp, don’t sing the blues.Nick once said that I have the musical taste of a drag queen. That’s about 80% accurate given the list above.
You know how everyone has at least one movie that they can recite verbatim? Mine are The Big Lebowski and Pulp Fiction. I also like any of the Mystery Science Theaters, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Shaun of the Dead, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit, Sin City, Night of the Living Dead, Monsters Inc., Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Garden State, the Harry Potter movies, Heathers, Lost Boys, The Point, Little Miss Sunshine, Josie and the Pussycats, Muppets Take Manhattan, Wet Hot American Summer, Wayne’s World (but if you say “shwing†to me, I’ll kick you in the throat), So I Married an Axe Murderer, The Karate Kid. Pretty much any horror movie, good or bad. Oh, and Video Girlfriend.

This is a hard question for me. I’ll do this mostly by authors. Mary Wollstonecraft, Mary Shelley, Oscar Wilde, Byron, the Harry Potter series (It’s for children you say? Well, fuck your mom.) bell hooks, Kurt Vonnegut, Carson McCullers, Eudora Welty, Vladimir Nabokov, Isabel Allende, Louise Erdrich, Joyce Carol Oates, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Dorothy Parker, Zora Neale Hurston, Alice Walker, DH Lawrence, Marge Piercy. I also paradoxically read lots of feminist books and cookbooks. That’s pretty funny, now that I think about it.
