Learning who you truly are is a long process. Before you can dedicate yourself to someone else you must be clear with yourself on what you are looking for and what you are willing to give. In any relationship (friendly, love interest) there needs to be a two way street both must give in order for it to work out. Sometimes we think that the more we give of ourselves the happier we make the other person. In reality we are hurting our integrity and we give power to that other person, we become constricted to that person's wishes and desires without actually taking note of what makes us happy. When you finally realize this you find yourself deep into a hole you can?t get out of...but that?s not the end because you know what? When that person loses you, they will realize your actual worth.
