No man is satisfied with his fortune, but every man is satisfied with his wit.

About Me

I'm Seth. I'm an agronomist. You probably don't know what that means, but that's okay. I grew up on a farm in Indiana, and moved to Wisconsin after college. I'm back to Indiana now, and glad to be home. Family is important to me, mine kicks butter. My sister, Sarah, and her husband, Dominick, just had their first baby in July '07 (my first nephew!). His name is Isaac, I'm the Godfather, and he's gonna be a lady's man (in a JPII way, not a hedenistic way). My dad is my best friend, and my mom is the sweetest, most talented lady I know. Sometimes I wish I was a rock star, but I've never played in public - and I very rarely sing for people, so probably won't happen anytime soon. Thanks for being a friend if you're a friend. I like my friends.

My Interests

playing guitar with a scrunched up face, snow skiing, salt-water fishing, soil, crops, boating, reading, making friends with other people's pets, remodelling, Jeeps, beer.

I'd like to meet:

Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller, the cookie monster, Leo Tolstoy, your mom's mom (maybe she'll introduce us), Jesus (I know, everyone says that..., but I really do want to meet Him - I just hope He's not yelling at me, and I should put Him at the front of the list where he belongs. Oh wait! He's at Mass everyday, but hopefully I'll see Him more clearly...)

Music:

Indie Rock: Ray Lamantagne, Damien Rice, Nick Drake, Matt Wertz, Pearl Jam, Jason Mraz, Bright Eyes, Postal Service, Guster, Jack Johnson, Neil Young, Simon and Garf, Howie Day, Better Than Ezra, Dashboard, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond (i know), ...and I also like pretty much every other type of music except for rap. Don't like Shania Twain or Polka either, but I do listen to country a lot.

Movies:

Legends of the Fall, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bottle Rocket, Christopher Guest mocumentaries, Fargo, Donnie Darko... and anything funny or well thought out.

Television:

Da Ali G Show, Curb your Enthusiasm, Extreme Home Makeover, Wild America with Marty Stauffer, My name is Earl, The Office, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, anything on Discovery or the Travel Channel

Books:

Tolstoy, C.S. Lewis, and Edgar Allen Poe (you should check out his poetry, it'll blow your freakin' mind). Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Bible

Heroes:

my dad, the late John Paul II, Abe Lincoln, C.S. Lewis, and our U.S. soldiers.

Buy American! You f-ing communists!

That's it, just buy American.  It may take you a little longer to shop because you won't find anything made in the USA at Walmart, and it may cost you a little more.  Really though, you have...
