A third generation Native Arizonian, Perry spent his early DJ days spinning at a dozen of small clubs, sports bars, and odd ball gigs. It wasnt until 1998 when he became a regular at Club Rio spinning 2-3 nights a week for over a year. Even though the place is shut down now, it opened the door to radio since that's where he met his connections to Mega and sister station Energy (which is now "The Beat").
With radio being his first love, Perry grew up listening to Hot Mix (Y95 / KZZP), Powertools (Eddie Amador), and Planet Edge / Edge Factor (Markus Schulz). Being able to spin multi-formats, Perry has been influenced by all the mentioned mix shows and then some. These programs are now in the past but Perry keeps these records alive on his various mixed sets.
As a former employee of legendary "Plastik Records" (owned by Schulz), Perry had the opportunity to guest DJ on the Edge Factor back in 1999. He also helped out with some shows for Hot Mix (a syndicated mixshow) that aired locally on The Zone in 2000 and nationally on stations throughout the country.
In 2003, Perry joined Energy & Mega doing mixes, board operating, and producing. After a couple years, he was ready to start hosting his own mixes and picking up some weekend slots. Now a regular on Mega, Perry can now be heard every M-F @ Noon during "Mega's Old School Workout" which has been a staple since 2007. In addition to being on air Saturday middays (10a-2p), Perry also mixes on Saturday nights on Mega too (11p-1a).
