DR DESTRUCTION has been around the music and sideshow scene for over 20 years. He has lead numerous punk rock bands, including Die Monster Die. DR DESTRUCTION has always been interested in art, music, and horror and has shown his talents through his bands, sideshows, and now his own Television Horror Host show that he produces weekly.
The show is called Crimson Theatre and started airing on Kenosha Public Access television in December of 2001. Crimson Theatre was born when DR DESTRUCTION's ideas and creative background and David Spring's knowledge and talent in the video/television industry came together and set the ground work for one of the Horror Host World's most known horror host. It wasn't long before Dick Nitelinger was writing an article for Scarey Monsters magazine along with developing a website dedicated to the history of Wisconsin Horror Host's and horrorhosts that were aired on Wisconsin airwaves.
By the end of the summer of 2002, David Spring left the show due to lack of time and career choices and Ralph Piro stepped up to the plate and helped DR DESTRUCTION to produce the weekly show that was building a large fan base.
As the years passed, the Doctor began reinventing himself along the lines of a traditional horror host, diving into such subjects as art and politics. He ran for mayor but was elected by the Art Association. His character traveled time in search of a lost queen, only to battle with Chthulu to a bitter end. Continuing the entire course of his years the best in late night horror entrtainment, a homage to artistry, literature and actors of the great horror classics. Now with his Dorian Gray Art Show in its 21st year, he is unifying a coven of artists to raise money for kindred kitties.
