The fatal crash between the motorcycle and a black Chevrolet Avalanche was reported around 3:55 p.m. and the Solano County coroner's office was called to the scene after officers said the motorcyclist was deceased. A CHP officer identified the deceased motorcyclist as Richard G. Kitagawa a 21-year-old man from Fairfield. Investigators were trying to figure out why the victim collided with a 2004 Chevy Avalanche parked on the shoulder from a previous non-injury collision. Kitagawa was ejected from the cycle and sustained fatal injuries, an officer said.R.I.P. Richard G. Kitagawa
