VICTOR IMBRES first entered music at the age of 13 getting piano lessons on his first keyboard. Victor soon would be sequencing from computers in his dance industrial band located in South Florida. At the Age of 16 Victor left Florida to pursue his music career and moved back to Washington DC where he grew up in his early years of life. He put several bands together after his move to DC and finally hooked up with Ali and Sharam of Deep Dish during a remix, which was released by Tribal Records and called “High Frequency.†At the same time Victor also was working with BT (Brian Transeau) who he met during another remix.
VICTOR IMBRES formed Alcatraz with Jean Philippe, and they both produced the hit song “Giv Me Luvâ€. Victor then teamed up with Ruth Rothwell in the UK and formed Greenlight Records in 1997. Greenlight soon released two top 40 UK Hits: Submerge “Take Me By The Hand†and Coco “I Need A Miracleâ€. Victor Imbres also produced Lithium “Ride A Rocket†around that time. Victor continued making dance house records until 1999. During that year Victor lost interest in music and decided to go back to college to pursue computer programming.
VICTOR IMBRES returned to music in 2006 and started again towards a long and successful career in music production and writing. Over the past few years his love of music has developed back into the same creative passion he once had in the 90’s. Victor has started new projects and collaborations and has revisited a new inspiration and energy. Now in 2008 Victor is working on a dance single per month and is back in music full time. He plans on building Greenlight Records back up and bringing quality house music to every dance floor around the world.
