I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a modern day nomad. Born in Arizona, moved to New Mexico for most of my young childhood, back to Arizona through the teen years... I was an exchange student in Germany for a year after highschool. After 3 years back in AZ again I ran off to Oakland, CA (not san francisco... I Lived in OAKLAND! EAST BAY!!) to be a recording studio intern. That was an awesome time. I rose through the ranks and eventually was given recording sessions to run, and also was hired on full time for awhile doing sound design for a film. While in Cali, I met a wonderful woman named Rebekah. On Oct. 12th, 2008 we got married in San Francisco. I left Oakland in early February to be with her in Burnaby (a suburb of Vancouver in Beautiful British Columbia). I also play trombone. I've been in a few bands. Actually a lot of bands. I have beautiful tone. I bought an antique euphonium from eBay so I could have something to play at Oakland's first Tubachristmas (which I organized!). I've been getting into the music scene up here with a wide variety of groups! Jazz bands, concert bands, a british brass band, and most notably, I have returned to playing ska, with a sweet sweet reggae/soul band called The Valuables! Check us out. Anyway, so there's my story up til now.
