Rafy J

Rafael Maldonado AKA Rafy J, was born & raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico & is currently residing in Tempe, Arizona. He has been influenced by music since birth from his father & has been performing Reggaeton for the past 5 years. In September of 2005, he returned to Puerto Rico to record his debut album "Sencillo" at Anqueira Records. With the return of recording his album, in Dec 10 of 2005, he had his first major appearance at the Glendale Arena opening Reggaeton in the Desert 2005 where Wissin y Yandel where the head liners of the event. After that event Rafy J has been making a name for himself apearing in shows in dif clubs around the valley including winning the Phoenix CUERVOTON wich took him to NYC to perform at the Nokia Theatre for the Cuervoton Finals opening a show for some of the big names of the industry. SENCILLO schedule for early 2007 it promises to bring something new & refreshing to the Reggaeton genre.
