i love connecting with people, nature and being outdoors. spending time on the beach or near the ocean is one of my favorite spots. i could chill out and watch the waves roll in for hours! staring out at the sky looking at clouds or watching the sun rise/set are also things i truly enjoy. i think people should fly kites more. i like to keep active, except for in the morning ... i love sleeping in and laying around before i get myself going ... good coffee is always important! i would describe myself as a floater. i love doing different things and exploring the city with my friends or by myself ... finding new galleries, places to see live music, or going out dancing. now that ive stepped outside the box and taken my first big trip overseas, i foresee a lot more travel in my future. im interested in checking out lots of new places and learning about different cultures. i think its important for everyone to be able to chill out and totally relax as much as possible to stay healthy and stable, so for that reason i enjoy giving massages to help others relieve their tension. some day i hope to be a massage therapist and open my own spa in sf. i love food (especially sweets) but i cant cook at all ... i can do dishes though! im terrified to drive in the city so i walk and ride my bike everywhere finding new adventures and meeting interesting people every time i leave the house! honestly, there isnt much im NOT interested in=)

i especially love people who are adventurous and have a good sense of humor. i am a total goof ball who loves a challenge and strives to simply enjoy everything that comes along. i prefer to surround myself with other people who are just as positive about life ... cuz living life is an amazing experience i try to never take for granted! =)
Music:
music is something i am very passionate about. i used to play the piano for years and years, but it got to be a pain moving such a huge intstrument every time i relocated, so i ended up donating it and am now thinking about getting a keyboard ... let me know if anyone's getting rid of one or knows of a good deal! im pretty much into whatever i can get a hold of. meeting people with different listening tastes, and being introduced to new sounds are things i really enjoy. i absolutely love bopping around the city with my ipod. these days ive been getting into a lot of hip-hop, but generally the soundtrack of my life includes anything from ... tom petty, common, bob marley, massive attack, diggable planets, sublime, steve miller band, dave matthews band, stars, nickel creek, frou frou, badmarsh and shri, postal service, erika badu, jack johnson, van morrison, blackalicious, bjork, outkast, david gray, tracy chapman, lou reed, interpol, mia, the crystal method, green day, bob dylan, the roots, jackson 5, death cab for cutie, ben harper, kinky, tribe called quest, iron and wine, the fugees (lauren hill and wyclef too!), tegan and sara, jem, david bowie, zero 7, dido, thievery corporation ... the list could go on forever. If you have any favorites you wanna turn me on to that would be awesome!
Movies:
i recently saw grindhouse and blades of glory and truly laughed my ass off ... good shit!! some of my all time favs: GREASE (im a sucker for musicals), phantom of the opera, the piano, amelie
Television:
i just moved into a new place that doesnt have cable so im not watching much tv these days ... just signed up for netfix though! if im chillin at a friends house zoning out, i enjoy catching episodes of south park, that 70s show, project runway, the daily show, weeds, and the L word
Books:
i especially enjoy reading works by female authors...some of my favs include isabel allende, alice sebold, and mary carr.
