En la ciudad de Douglas Az, bajo una atmosfera de aprendizaje, Detras de un lavaplatos durante la clase de ..Foods.. se encontraban nuestros compa..eros Eli (bajo) y Victor (guitarra) entablando una converzacion donde se tocaban temas tales como: ..Y que hiciste en la clase del Jordan vato? Como te fue con la Respotoberberona?.. etc. Fue dentro de esa conversazion que aproximadamente a la 1:25 de la tarde nace Eskape. Todo parecia un sue..o de un par de estudiantes lavatrastes de poca experiencia musical. A los dias Natanael (bateria) se uniria al grupo, despues de una semana Heber (voz) para menos de un mes ya estaban grabando su primer disco, ..Escape... Cuando la grabacion fue dada por terminada, por ultimo, Daniel (guitarra) decide unirse definiendo lo que ahora es Eskape. Debido a ciertas razones, los muchachos deciden hacer una re-produccion del material, agregar nuevas canciones y renombrar el album. Un A..o y ocho meses despues el disco ..Corre hacia mi.. esta listo. El quinteto (originario de Flagstaff y Douglas Az) ha tomado sus influencias aparentes sin ser obvio, desde distorciones (el uso estandard de toda banda de rock) hasta pianos melodicos y atmotfericos, sin ignorar las guitarras inteligentes Europeas. Su estilo te puede conducir de una plataforma llena de adrenalina y ruido hasta otra similar pero paciva y relajante. El mensaje es profundo y lleno de la palabra de Dios, y se basan de acuerdo a las vivencias de los integrantes confortando el espiritu de todo aquel que anda perdido fuera de la iglesia al igual que al de aquel dentro de la iglesia. The ESKAPE that drove out of Douglas was a very different one from the ESKAPE that had arrived. Following six years of solid music and performances, the end of a century marked the beginning of a new era for the quintet, like being born again, like the return of the Phoenix from the midst of its ashes, but not redemption. No. It was not a momentum thing, along with the other losses, the love of the people was not one of them, for this movement is "ONE" with the people. It was the summer of 2002 and ideas were flowing, butterflies in stomach revolving around. A passion was being born! Sure, why not? The band found itself buzzing with nervous anticipation of what it was to happen next. A year of previous work had passed. Now, they were relying on a mediocre ten track piece of "record". Their dreams depended on that CD, but its quality was poor; that became a very high mountain to climb, yet; their hopes didn't hesitate to conquer it. Their dreams went beyond any borders, furthermore; they didn't need permission to cross them, and they were -unstoppable-, like nothing can keep a child from loving his mother. Knowing that the quality was not good enough, they decided to make a reproduction, of the same tracks, same material, and same stuff. Now every little detail had to be perfect, -let us be our own producers- they realized. Their potential had to really glow. It took them one long year to complete the 13 track album. It was one step before perfection. Their music gave a huge, massive turn, sound wise and quality wise, it was them playing for God's sake! Now, their ministry had grown, and more things come to mind when thinking about the next step, a label, a road manager, and sarcastically, more gigs to Europe! lol, you name them. In spite of everything, to the eyes of God our creator, touring all over the world doesn't count, experience doesn't count. Hey, even musicology doesn't count. What really counts, it's you! Your passion and what you are willing to do for God, and to honor His name. Struggling to conquer more mountains, ESKAPE has this to offer to the world. ESKAPE is not a band, but a simple group of five guys who are tired of seeing young people wasting their lives. "We are willing to make a difference in our world and hope to take this truth to the rest of the world". ESKAPE is on the rise...
