About Me

PAINT, being selfish, loving art to the point that it hurts my soul, feeling creativly frustrated and creativly enlightend at the same time, spelling everything wrong, slinging eco building materials, aged wood, doors, missing Blacksburg, ghost stories... all stories... the ghosts we leave behind, walking through galleries alone, holding anything my grandfather made, staircases, knowing the world is ending but still recycling, laughing, pissing people off by laughing too loud, kissing, making jambalaya, talking about art with Megalicious - actually anything with Megalicious, steam on a cup of coffee, making new friends and learning more about the old ones, smiling at old people, stories from Lousiana about my grandfather, gin with my two favorite gin drinkers, every book anyone took the time to write, being polite, solitare (thanks Grandma Dot), my fucked up southern roots, dancing in the kitchen, my boots, HOKIES, smells that invoke a memory, the way my mom's house has a slight tinge of my grandmothers scent, air dried laundry, summer evenings in the south, camp fires and most of all my favorite person - my little brother FULLBLEED

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who live their passions

Music:

about to drive across the good ol USA - any suggestions?

Movies:

Independant films rock my socks. Fight Club is my all time favorite, Urban Cowboy, The life of David Gale, American Beauty, Casino, The Good Girl, American History X, Seven, Forest Gump, A River Runs Through It, Sideways, Girl Interupted, Tommy Boy, Love Actually, Dumb and Dumber, 8 Seconds, Elizabethtown, the list goes on...

Books:

I won't even go there... okay maybe a little. I love Chuck (and I got to meet him), any sort of twisted fiction and anything a certain twisted friend recomends, Behold a Pale Horse, Middlesex, paint formula books, Aguston Burroughs memoirs, Art & Fear, Everything by Chris Van Allsburg, and pretty much anything that makes my mind do a little jig...

Heroes:

My 2 Grandfathers... Amazing men who always had eyes that sparkled.
