Almost any sci-fi movies, thrillers, some comedies...anything by Lord of The Rings director Peter Jackson. People slept on King Kong, but it was a visual masterpiece and the only similarity to the original was the ending of course. I don't care for slashing movies. Some foreign films in any language...but I must be well rested to read the sub-titles LOL
