About Me

My friends would probably start out by saying I am the social coordinator of the group. I usually end up planning our girls weekends out of town (Philly, Indy, Nashville, etc.) and happy hours. However, I have taken a slight break from that as I focus on getting my event planning business called Silva Event Planning up and running. Check it out at www.silvaeventplanning.com. I also work full-time as a Senior Product Manager for Appriss Inc. I manage a product called JusticeXchange, which is a Web portal for criminal justice agencies and law enforcement containing records to help them track sex offenders, create photo lineups of offenders, and many other exciting features. The position has allowed me to travel all over the country speaking on my product, including Florida, California, Texas, and many other states.I have been married since August 2004 to my best friend :-). My husband and I have three dogs, which we consider our children. We moved into our new home in October that we built. Check out my pics of it!Also, I love to learn, so I started taking real estate classes in January. It is something I have always been interested in, so I figured why not go take classes and then get licensed. My Interests

I love spending time with my husband and three dogs. I also enjoy shopping, exercising, traveling, and spending time with friends.

I'd like to meet:

I am looking to meet more friends, find old friends who I have lost touch with, and to network. Since moving from Paducah to Louisville in April of 2001, I have lost touch with a lot of friends that I would like to reconnect with.

Music:

I love hip-hop, rap and pop. Eminem, Chris Daughtry and Nick Lachey are my men! I know...odd combination...but what can I say. Anyone who knows me knows I have definitely liked just about every kind of man possible at one point or another. I also like Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, and many others.

Movies:

I love Dirty Dancing and 8 Mile.

Television:

I love Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Crime shows like FBI Files and Law and Order are also favorites. I am also addicted to news shows like the Today Show and Meet the Press.

Books:

I don't have alot of time to read, but when I do, they are mostly entreprenuer and business books.
