"Oh...I don't watch television!" I always hate that shit...when people try to act as if they're above TV. Yeah...right...get over yourselves! The fact is, like anything else, TV is what you make of it. I mean, at the same time, I do understand the dangers of TV, in that it has the potential to be the heroine of the masses (especially the American masses). With that said, there actually is some good stuff on television, you just have to search for it. So, the shows I like(ed): Arrested Development, the canceled HBO UK series "Extras", the canceled HBO series, "The Comeback" (such a funny, yet poignant show), Entourage (HBO), Twilight Zone (the original series from the 50's and 60's), The Office (BBC and NBC), Absolutely Fabulous (BBC), Are You Being Served (BBC), Couples (BBC), Peep Show (BBC)...such a GREAT show!!!, The Young Ones (BBC) Greg the Bunny (IFC), Hopeless Pictures (IFC). The Soup (on E!), Best Week Ever (VH1), Freaks & Geeks (Canceled)
Anything by Hunter S Thompson! I absolutely love his writing style. Yep...that's about it. Oh, and of course Charles Bukowski!!! Thanks Shey for "lending" me The Post Office!!! ;) Sadly, I'm usually too busy to read anything other than news/web articles (nice excuse, huh?). Yeah..."Oh...I live such a full life, that I don't have the time to read the classics!!!"....duhhhhh! Seriously though, I should probably spend more time reading.
Me, myself and eye! (hehe) Seriously, aren't heroes reserved for damsels in distress!?!?! ;)
