About Me

I guess I should write something here, so here goes...I have done a lot of stuff in my life... Supported myself singing in the subways of Boston in the 80's, was a hat designer/maker, ended up being a professional singer/songwriter on the east coast for over a decade (www.ratsy.com), moved to Hollywood and did some commercials/t.v./modeling, and currently have moved to Ohio, bought a house and opened up a vintage clothing/household decor type store in the upstairs of an antique shop. www.ratsysstore.com (website currently under construction, but you should be able to get a flavor of it's splendiforous-ness)So far, life has been pretty good. I can't complain. It's good to have dreams.Anything is possible.

My Interests

Thrift stores, old stuff, going through big old houses, pulling weeds and planting things. Intriguing architecture, unusual furniture and esthetically pleasing objects.

I'd like to meet:

Smart, clever people and lindyhoppers. I don't want to infer that lindyhoppers aren't smart or clever, but don't want to discriminate if they aren't. Lindyhoppers are good regardless.

Music:

Blossom Dearie, Big Band, Hip Hop, Hillbilly, Sad and Peppy. Not necessarily in that order.

Movies:

Station Agent, Grey Gardens, Impromptu, Amelie, How to Marry a Millionare

Television:

Boston Legal, Antiques Roadshow, Ellen

Books:

Etiquette Books, Dictionary, Thesaurus, Vintage Decorating Books

Heroes:

Little surfer girl that got her arm bit off by a shark. In general people that bounce back from adversity and are unstoppable are good.
