The Music of Jason Floyd Hatcher

About Me

"A Front Porch Storm."
There is a giant oak tree which shades my front porch. In many moments I am found sitting on the porch staring out into the twisted limbs and strumming my guitar. This tree was recently threatened to be cut down. But then the tree was saved. For years the tree has weathered storm after storm while I myself have survived days of equal rain. The old oak has become a symbol of my current life. I am Jason Hatcher. Formerly the singer and guitarist of the band Hex Error. I have now traded Marshall stacks for a couple of old acoustic guitars. I write and record in the den of my home where I use the most simple devices to capture ideas. I sing all leads and harmonies and play all instruments. Even sound effects like rain and birds are authentic and taped from my front porch. This is me. A time capsule of my life and current state of mind. Thanks for having a listen.
