Good question. Well, I'm from a little dairy town in Cali's Central Valley -- the kind of place everyone should be from. Great memories, values and good times. I was raised by a single Mom but was lucky to have a Dad that stayed active in my life. I went to college at the University of the Pacific, where I became a member of Phi Delta Theta, an organization that changed my life -- both by the friends I made, and the leadership skills I learned. At UOP I also met my wife -- Katie, who lived right next door to me in the dorms my freshman year. She is the sunniest part of my life. I graduated with a degree in Biology and went on to to Microbiology work in a large winery also located in the Valley. From there, after realizing that I would never become a Winemaker for a company such as that, Katie, Atlee -- our dog, and I, made the move to San Luis Obispo, CA, where we currently reside. It's sunny everyday, we live 8 houses from the Pacific Ocean, I make wine for a living, we have two incomes and no kids (don't get me wrong, I love kids, but just not for us yet ) -- in other words -- life is frickin' good... real, real good.
