Every since 1997, Dj Keyth 3tymez has been spinning on the 1's and 2's. Keyth started out, with Da' Fam Entertainment, mixing live with Paul Wall of Swisha House for 2yrs at Tradewinds Skating Rink on W. 34th St. During that time Keyth was known to many by a different name. At that time Keyth was known as DJ Xkalybur, which he later changed. Also during that time Keyth was doing promotions for two companies, Da' Fam Entertainmtent and In Yo Face Marketing & Promotions.
Keyth was introduced to the promotions game by Larry "Smoo G" Goodall, the CEO of Da' Fam Ent. The knowledge of street team promotions encouraged Keyth to attend and later graduate college with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. From that point, Keyth was doing promotions for Motown Records, BadBoy Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and local talent.
While doing promotions, Keyth ran into Krystal Rivera of K.Joy Marketing and Promotions. From her he ran with the likes of Def Jam, Rap-o-Lot, WreckShop and Virgin records.
Keyth has created his own media, marketing and promotion companies, Heavyload Media and Excaliber Entertainment. These companies serves as outlets for artists, dj's and small businesses to obtain advertisement and an affordable price.
Since these encounters, Dj Xkalybur, now known as Dj Keyth 3tymez the Greenspoint Grizzly, has collaborated with numerous local Texas Dj's, such as Dj Kutz, Dj Wood, Crisco Kidd, Memphis 10, Dj Jack Frost and Dj Slice to bring more knowledge and experience to his resume. Grizzly, which is what people call Keyth for short, has hosted and mixed at local clubs, Reebok All-Star Weekend, the Texas Showdown Carshow and the Underground Rapper's Carshow with Dj M&M of M1 Entertainment. With over 15 years of experience, Dj M&M enlighted Keyth on different aspects of mobile Dj'ing and producing extraordinary sound quality.
With the mixtape scene being real heavy in Houston, Keyth has started and dropped 2 different mixtape series. The first series called "Let Me Introduced Myself", hosted by Spark Dawg, was collaborated and mixed by both Keyth and mixtape partner Dj Wood from Austin, Tx. The second series called "The Texas Circuit Mixtape", was a solo project hosted by Houston's own next lyrical emcee, T-LYRIC. The Grizz has 2 other series of mixtapes coming soon called "Get Mad, Get Money: The Female Chronicles" hosted by Surreall of Gutta Mami Ent. and "Streets illustrated".
Now just recently added to his resume, Grizz has now accepted the role as Field Promotions Rep in the Houston market for TVT Records. For those who dont know who TVT Records is. They are the Indie Record label that has Lil Jon, Pitbull, Paris Bennett, Yin Yang Twins, 213, Yo-Gotti and many other great artist. Grizz has worked with a lot of artist from main stream to underground such as fellow Greenspoint resident Magno, PKT, Spark Dawg and Dirty Mouth(Trillville.
Grizz is now the a new member of the Real Djs Squad and Online Magazine Trillevents.com. The Real Dj's is the most productive and efficient crew of djs in the game. Grizz does have a second personality, which now brings more meaning to his phrase, "Dj'n and Promotions is real job, my 9-5 is a front, so please dont confuse the 2", Keyth is always looking for the next hustle. As quoted by Keyth, "I have a lot of experience in this game". He also said, "When people see me, they are always like, You look different when you are not dj'n, and I tell em' I gotta keep my Uncle Sam money seperate from my Dj & Promo money.
