Fate Unknown , was formed in Poland in order to break some rules, however
not to exaggerate in this respect too much. The hybrid which was conceived
after seven years of F.U.'s existence is "Something Now" - a debut album
utilizing most of metal music genres enforced with hardcore energy
influenced by
post-industrial sterile sound frames and employing innovative synths and
samples. For many reviewers this record is visionary, for some it is
blasphemously
incoherent and stylistically undecided. Well that's the matter of taste.
Fate Unknown's music have had to wait for quite a long time to be
officially
available on dominated with pop-shit Polish market. However after dozens of
shows played around Poland, few well welcomed appearances on abroad
festivals
in Germany and Czech Republic as well as in nation wide TVs (MTV Polish
National TV) and self-released EP "Advent" F.U. was signed to an
independent
label Equilibrecords(www.equilibrecords.com) to record their first longplay
"Something Now".
Heavy music fans and reviewers who have waited for a fresh breath welcomed
the debut album with enthusiasm. Those of orthodox origin went pale and are
waving their fists with disgust, but F.U. is rolling on, playing gigs and
working on new songs for their second album.
