ok, i need to update... Hey y'all, I'm originally from the Philly burbs, spent the last 2 years going to med school in Missouri, and since September '06, i've been in St. Pete for my clinical years. I LOVE IT HERE! When I probably should be studying, i like getting out to concerts, movies, playin poker with the fellas, and blowing off steam at the local gym. I love playing and watching sports: BASEBALL!!- diehard Phillies fan, even though they've been finding ways to avoid the postseason for years :( and gotta love the yanks! Football- still with those Buffalo Bills cuz my parents are originally from Buffalo, NY but i let the EAGLES into my heart as well. HOCKEY!! - gotta go with the Buffalo Sabres (blue collar guys that get the job done, true underdogs) So when I graduate in 2008, I'll be a DO not an MD. What's up with that? Well for all you Curious Georges out there, DO's are able to specialize in the same areas of medicine, but also receive training in musculoskeletal manipulation techniques. DO's stress preventative medicine and treating the whole patient: mind, body, and spirit.
