About Me

Bad religion-American Jesus
Moo. Seriously people talk about America and how everything is falling apart. I do not claim to be an expert by any means but the first problem is we do not make anything anymore. Instead of the various 'green' groups working with companies to become more environmentally friendly, they want to just pass blanket laws that just move the pollution to another part of the world. The jobs follow the pollution, hence why a lot of jobs are NOT in the United States any longer.I think taxes should be evenly spread across the board, a flat rate, so the person that makes $30k a year is taxed the same percentage as someone that makes $3 million a year. Tax breaks, lol...go buh bye. Taxing ONLY the rich? The most absurd idea evAr. How would you like to have worked, been successful and find yourself paying for other people and their unwillingness to work. Drug tests for welfare recipients. Tighter controls for who gets welfare. We have made Darwin's job hard here, people, why do we continue to let stupidity breed? If person A cannot support himself but insists on marrying person B who also cannot support herself, and then they have person C, D, E, why the hell am I paying for their combined stupidity. Why are only banks and businesses with failed working models being the ones given a bailout? If your business is not making money, maybe you should consider what you are doing wrong, stop absurd bonuses, and above all, get rid of the unions. The original idea of a union was great. Now OSHA and numerous other departmental agencies do most of the same job. By forcing relatively unskilled labor to higher rates, you push the skilled labor figures higher. Everyone makes more money....oh wait, everything costs more as well. Now the jug of milk that was $2.50 growing up is $4.50. Much of the financial problems in this country though are simply from greed and sheer incompetence. I would be surprised if America still owns America in ten years. If you have not watched Idiocracy, check it out. The comparisons shown, well, you will either call it brilliant or the worst movie you have ever seen. Or check out a short story called 'News Clips Recovered form the NYC Ruins' in L.E. Modesitt's 'Viewpoints Critical' BAD RELIGION"Quality Or Quantity"offer me eternity, and i'll trade a cup of coffee and a dime, looking for a handout on behalf of those who have so little time, but who wants to live on just 70 cents a day? padding your pockets doesn't make this a better place, "cereal and water" is a feast for some you say, your price-tag on existence can't cover your double face, quality or quantity: a choice you have to make, dipping in the icing, bringing home the largest turkey from the field, breaking all the piggy banks, scooping up the booty, licking all the right holes, bolstering the payroll, why reduce life to a dollar amount per day? and why let the world think this is the american way? your uneaten greens ar a feast for some you say, survival and living are concepts you can't equate, quality or quantity don't tell me they're the same

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Really? A girl that grew up on a farm, that likes being outside, doesn't mind doing something with her hands, hates the 'coffee house' scene. Someone who thinks sleeping in till 8 is a luxury and likes to have breakfast for supper on occasion. Someone who will give me a good reason not to work so late every night. Preferably within a few years of my age, lol, so we can talk about the terrible shows that used to be on TV.
