About Me

Hmmmm, well about me . . . . . . at the end of last year, I quit my job, packed up my stuff, and lived the nomad lifestyle for a bit. Recently, after years of talking about it, I finally settled back up north in New Hampshire. Living in Pennsylvania for the past three years has made me realize that I will always be a 'New Englander' at heart. I grew up in a little place in Connecticut we call “Naug”, which will always be home to me. My second home is “Manch-Vegas”, New Hampshire, where I went to college – SNHU Class of 2003. In one aspect, it seems as though I can never sit in one place. I always have to be doing something or going somewhere. Gotta keep life exciting somehow, right?! On the other hand, I can hang out for hours with my friends and do absolutely nothing and have a blast! Life is truely about the people that you share it with!! I believe that some people make the world a better place just by being in it.

My Interests

I’m pretty much up for anything, and will try anything once (some people say that I'm crazy cause I've jumped out of an airplane). I love to travel, whether it is a road trip through New England for the weekend, or out of the country (just went to the Dominican Republic in February). My friends mean the world to me and I don't know where I would be without them!! I love all of you!!

I'd like to meet:

Old friends and blasts-from-the-pasts, new friends and fun people!

Music:

I don't know what I would do without music during my frequent car trips to anywhere and everywhere......anything that I can sing along to at the top of my lungs and look like a lunatic to cars passing by is a good choice. These include Bare Naked Ladies, Violent Femmes, Phish, Bob Marley, Steve Miller Band, Michelle Branch, Gavin DeGraw, Jack Johnson, Rascal Flatts, Rusted Root, Lenny Kravitz, all 80s music (Orange Crush is the best 80s cover band!!), old school Madonna and Michael Jackson, Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, Billy Joel "Piano Man", James Taylor, and the list continues on and on.......I will listen to almost anything!

Movies:

The best movie of all-time is def The Goonies ("This one, this one right here....this was my dream, my wish, and it didn't come true, so I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back") There are many more that come in close second, including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Dumb and Dumber, Rent, Remember the Titans, Dazed and Confused, The Notebook . . . . . . . . scary movies are always good choices, as well any movie that makes you think and keeps you guessing until the last minute.

Television:

Yes, I do admit......I love reality tv. Anything from Survivor and Amazing Race to Real World/Road Rules challenges. And I do have a weakness for some teenage drama shows (OTH). Also, CSI is one of the best television shows around, the true Las Vegas edition that is.
