I own and operate my own daycare business for about 15 years.We are licensed for 112 kids. so everyday is a challenge! I have 3 daughters, Amanda that is married to Jeremy and they are the parents of my wonderful grandson George,that will be 6 in sept. Amanda went to college to become a science teacher and was teaching in Pasadena. Jeremy was accepted in the Manager program where he worked,and all of a sudden they just quit their jobs and moved to Rockdale Texas. Why? Good Question.
Heather is married to Chris and works under me in our business.She has her degree in Child Development, her adminstration creditals and her Director's License, she is my right arm.She looks just like her dad and acts the most like me. Chris works at Hilcorp Energy in downtown Houston.They are expecting their first child in March 08.It is a baby Girl her name will be Lynzie. They live next door to the daycare and I will get to see my new granddaughter alot!
And last but not least there is Jenny, she is finished her senior year at Pearland HS in seven (yes 7!)weeks and has started college. She still will be walking with her class because she wanted to walk with her friends.We are so proud. Mind you having a teenager still at home keeps me hopping and hopefully keeps me young too. She has had alot of health problems and is very strong because of them. Jenny was born on my 14th wedding annver. and my birthday, I also think she looks the most like me when I was younger. But acts like her dad. I have been married to my husband George for 32 years this year it has been a real challenge in life for us both. We married in 1975 on my 18th birthday and after raising my kids I did not realize how young I was. George was 22 at the time so we grew up together. We were married along time before we decided to have children and I really think that helped us. I also have a spoiled black and tan dashshund named Baby Girl. Jenny has a spoiled chiuhauha named Bella that also lives with us. Our dogs are very much a part of our family. I have several employees that are like family to me also.
