About Me

Pete Blast started his recording career in the mid 90's. His first big break came with the management team of legendary hip-hop producer Pete Rock. This led to him performing with artists across multiple genres. He has shared the stage with Rev Run, Doug E. Fresh, City High, Faith Evans, K7, TKA, The Grand Skeem, LFO, and many others.Pete is an entertainment and events director, working behind the scenes with major Fortune 500 companies to help them identify branding opportunities for their products with recording artists, magazine publications, record companies, etc. He has worked on programs with Shady Records, Diddy, Shaggy, Fonzworth Bentley, Kim Sozzi, Felix da Housecat, Godskitchen Dance DJ Tour, Maxim magazine, FHM, URB, Blender, XXL, Complex, Fader, Hip-Hop Immortals, Wind-Up Records, EMI Records and Sony Music to name a few.Being a natural on stage, Pete Blast has also hosted major events as a VJ, sharing the stage with various personalities in sports and entertainment. Additionally, his jingle recordings have appeared in national commercials across the country. Pete Blast released two major theme songs for the following brands: Major liquor brand Midori and The Dudley Boyz Theme for the WWE. He has had songs in many feature films with upcoming placements scheduled for 2009.Today, his music is a combination of hip-hop and dance with a touch of pop and soul - which qualifies him as a highly versatile artist with major crossover appeal. This year he will be appearing on various compilations with artists from multiple genres ranging from hip-hop, dance and pop.
