Rush , a graphic street artist...
I have respect for most Writers but I found writing words a bit restrictive. Tagging without tallent, and with no intention of actualy painting a piece, is my pet hate. Tallentless taggers give street art a bad name, it is their fault that it is now possible to get harsh penalties for street art. br
I started stencilling years ago, inspired by Banksy, but found that there is only so far, in my opinion, that stencilling can be pushed, and it seems to be pretty much there!Finally I found artists like D*face, Mysterious Al, Dave The Chimp etc. decided that what i call Graphic street art is what I wanted to create, and realised that I could use whatever technique seemed like a good idea at the time. I just want to put the creatures in the dream world, the street world, on display for all to see.

-Hamswell festival 2007 – Confirmed Artist
me and 4 other artists are going to paint the large wall that runs round the backstage area with a huge detailed mural during the festival (so essentially live!). This will be around 7ft tall!
“We have at present about 500 tins of spray paint for the festivalâ€!
There will also be a marquee to use as a gallery space, and I am planning on trying to get some sculpture/ installation work done as well as the usual paint/ink work
This means I get free entry, food, booze, paint and accommodation for around a week. (nice!)

Festival Runs 10th – 12th August 2007
“We have been running the festival for the last 3 years and each year it has become bigger and better along with the acts and this year will be no exception. We have a licence this year to hold 2500 people compared to the 600 last year and we are hoping to sell outâ€

- Working for DBO, custom painting a snowboard blank along with a few other selected artists for this mad event:
Boards are on display and for sale along with some snowy action, so make it down to the snow dome 11 August!

- Confirmed space at the 'Park life' Ski and snow board show at the metro arena (london) running from the Weds 24th though to Sunday 28th. with DBO and the other guys from the snow dome show. to echo DBO, Its a pretty big deal so thanks to Mikey for the opurtunity!
