I am a unassuming person that just likes to have fun in life. I am generally quiet around people I do not know. I am pretty straight with people and I view my own sense of personal Honor and integrity the only things I truely own. I not much for chit chat about nothing I like to be able to contribute something to the conversation otherwise I really dont know what to say. That's not really true I guess, I do like to have fun and joke around with people. Nothing ever mean just to have fun.
I like music alot of 80's stuff (as I grew up with it) and I dont much like most of the current stuff that craps on the mainstream airwaves. Though bands like Evanscence, Tool, Queensryche, some Green Day stuff and anything that has some thought into the actual making of the music I tend to like. All this crap that people throw out onto the mainstream media for the masses to make a buck tends to suck ass. I guess I like what I like so my range varies widley. If it has a nice sound and the vocals meld right thats what I look for. I also really like Celtic/folk type music as well. Artists Like Lorenna Mckennitt, Sarah Mclaughlin, Clannad, Medieval Babes are some of my Favorites.
I like Fantasy artwork (as in RPG's) and Sci-Fi art as you can tell if you looked at my pics as well as art in general. My Favorite current online artist is named Andy Simmons. His stuff tends to be Tolkien like, has that Lord of the Rings feel to it. It just amazes me sometimes the talent some people have and the creative ideas that they get to present to us as a person to share thier abilities with. I also tend to like things that are old. Books, items, knick knacks, anything that has seen history to it fasinates me as well. Just to be able to hold something in your hand and know that it has been around for so long or been part of history it almost feels as if history pulses inside it.
For Movies I like Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies the best. Favorite movies of all time in my opinion are the Original Star Wars trilogy and The Lord or the Rings trilogy. They both revolutionized the movie industry in the production values brought fourth to those class of films. Awesome, awesome movies.
As for entertainment my biggest vice is playing computer games, but i like to read, and of course watch TV and go to the movies. I am a sucker for all the RPG stuff games, books, ect. I just like the medieval period in general and when mixed with Magic and Elves well there you go instant addict.
My current attention sponge and major Vice is a game called World Of Warcraft. It is a game that you play online with thousands of other people in the same virtual world. It is very cool and fun to interact with people that you know are just like you sitting on the other end looking at a computer screen only 100's or 1000's miles away. I have been playing it for since it came out, longest I have ever played a single game. I only play off and on right now as I have gravitated towards other things.
Well that is me in a micro nutshell. I will come back and add more but I just don't have the time right now. So I will touch back here once as I get more time, so in the immortal words of George Jettson, "Janie get me off of this craazzzzyy thing!."
