Tribe of the Diasporas

About Me

Tribe Mission: Tribe of the Diasporas is an integrated multiracial, multigender, multiclass, multigenerational, multilingual spiritual community comprised of nonviolent educators, students, organizers, artists, healers, and social visionaries. Our work is rooted in providing a safe space to heal, recover, teach, learn, play, grow, and love as informed by the present and historical experience of queer communities, womyn, peoples of color, working-class, immigrants, indigenous, youth, elders, and all those marginalized by elite power structures. Community education, empowerment, curriculum development, organizational capacity building, leadership training, mentorship, performance, and art are the mainstays of our spiritual practice and evolution. ............................................................ ......................................... Tribe Vision: Tribe of the Diasporas seeks to create and support self-sustaining communities which address the needs of marginalized peoples through education, recovery, and alternatives to incarceration. We are committed to building and maintaining cooperative living, learning, and working environments where social visionaries facilitate community empowerment, healing, and integration as part of an international movement.
