About Me

I am officially now a one-man-band. I gots a drumkit!I am put here on earth to save all of you depressed emos from self-mutalation with comedy, if you ever need to talk just give me a call. I'll listen, I don't know how much help I can be but I just might make you laugh, and sometimes that's all it takes.Ok, I'm lazy and I am in school, I like art and music but mostly music. I'm in a band called plunger and I got a car over the summer so we should be practicing regularly but aren't for reasons I will not reveal (it is dramatic let me assure you). I have been trying to form a band any band recently but due to lack of motivation many of the drummers asked don't even show for the practice. If only Stewart Copeland was growing up now in Chardon or I growing up years ago in Lebanon. I don't care about anything other than just having fun writing music. Due to lack of participation I have taken up mixing music. I play several instruments but not the drums and although mixing is cool and I can do so much with it it takes forever and I'd rather just get a kit to funk around on. So that is where my cash is going right now, that and the expensive tickets to the Police reunion concert July 16 (Copeland's Birthday) in Cleveland. Long live Unionhouse Records.

My Interests

Writing, Art, Music, videogames, and any combination of the four. I like Star Wars, a lot.

Music:

I have not found a genera in which I don't at least like one song. Having said that I pretty much hate Country, Pop, Emo, and most Rap. I really like Techno, Ambient, Trance (without singing), Jazz, Acid Jazz (lounge), Fusion Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Bossa Nova, Funk, Electronica, Orchestral, Classic Rock, Game Music (because i am a nerd like that), Ska, Reggae, and I will admit that I take a liking to 90s punk because I used to listen to it all the time, it brings back memories and such. Everything else is in-between with exceptions like Santana, The Bare Naked Ladies, and The Police, who are awesome, Viva la Copeland. Up until recently I had given up completely on Christian music but then my uncle showed me this project band from 2004, Gatto. He said that he has no idea what they are doing now and that they do not exist on the internet as far as he knows but their project was awesome. It features just three tracks but each one is over 9 minutes long & features incredibly complex and technical music with many key and time signature changes. It's the most interesting stuff I've listened to in a while. "Overtureish" was the best way he described it. I just began two separate projects myself this weekend. One with Luke Bluhm(Asi), who I must say is a very accomplished and dynamic guitarist, and the other project is with Steve Saley and his cousin on drums (possibly more musicians). We're calling it the Devil and Woulf project and it looks promising. Fantastic Machine!

University of Iowa Farm Machine MusicThis incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of Engineering at the University of Iowa... no it wasn't.Amazingly, 97% of the machines components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of Bancroft, Iowa, yes farm equipment! It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment, calibration, and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it was WELL worth the effort. It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall at the University and is already slated to be donated to the Smithsonian. That is a lie.

Gears Of War

The music surprisingly pulled it together very well. Graphics look amazing, I'm impressed with this Classic 'save the human race' shooter, and that dosen't happen often.

Urban Ninja

Now this guy knows what he's doing!

Funny Videos: Stupid Karate Expert - This so called master gets owned by a piece of wood.

Halo Arbiter music video

After I made the chief video, i thought i should make one for the arbiter. I plan to make a halo 2 Master Chief video soon. The song is So Cold by Breaking Benjamin, and i got the clips from halo.bungie.net ~Direman

Retarded Cat

A clip of a retarded cat slamming into a wall. I don't get out much, especially when it comes to movies. All i can say is that I find the idea of people switching places and two people with way too many children to be stupid. My favorites are 'The Matrix', all and anything 'Starwars', 'Oceans 11', 'kung fu hustle', 'Independence Day', 'X-Men 3', 'Top Gun', and 'irobot'(although it gives very little credit to Asimov). (Pretty much anything with a Heist, Aliens, Robots, Fighter Pilots, War, or fast-paced action in it)... (and no, that does not 'get me hard') Apart from that the Documentaryish B.T.S. Stewart Copeland movie "Everyone Stares" was very cool and I enjoyed it (especially with the commentary and all of the silly things that Andy Summers did)

Television:

Mythbusters, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken

Books:

If I had more time I'd read more. My favorite books are 'Halo Fall of reach', 'Ender's game', The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and this one scifi/fantasy book i read like two years ago, I think it was the 'Trans...something saga', a smattering of Star Wars extended universe books.

Heroes:

Firemen at the Trade centers, and all firemen. Policemen fighting against crime in America. American and allied soldiers, especially those in Iraq. Those in the winter olympics, medal winners or not. Stewart Copeland The Canadian hockey team. John Fieldman. Jedis. Whoever invented the English Language. Douglas Adams.
