i've been making music with my band log hog and in other various capacities for almost 14 years now. over that time i've been a part of the release of 20 albums or so. people who hear them tend to like them more often than not, but marketing has never been our strong suit. we make music for fun and because we have to make music.
in march 2007 our studio burnt down (watch the video over to the left). it was a pretty big setback, but things are finally looking up again.
dec. 17, 2007: i finally took down the "press the letters" songs and put up songs from various projects and eras.
thumbs - this is a brand new one, from the forthcoming "ohnny presto" lp, a collaboration with the venerable seed verb and the notorious fernando dc.
jaggit - this solo effort was originally recorded in the year 2000 and then later featured on the log hog mixtape "kidding on the square" in 2004.
the golden mic - from the 2005 mark and tom release, "latest shits".
time capsule - another solo song, this one recorded in 2004. i've had a solo record in progress for about 8 years now. ha. everytime i get to work on it all the songs seem old and i have to replace half of them. then next time i have to replace the other half. but i'm hoping it will see the light of day in 2008. this track may or may not be on it. for the fans - another mark and tom song, this one from 2005's "best of emcees" (best of emcees was finished right at the beginning of 2005, latest shits right at the end).
