About Me

COME TO SEE US AT SOUTHAMPTON JOINERS, ON THE 19TH OF JULY. BUY TICKETS NOW AND WE'LL SEND YOU YOUR TICKETS!!!
_________________________________________
Southampton based Openroom formed in their current line up at the end of 2006 and are quickly becoming one of the most talked about bands in the South. Not only do they produce perfectly crafted indie/electropop tunes, but have one of the most energetic and powerful live shows you’ll see. Rave reviews of their debut (and now sold out) self-titled EP and an evergrowing fanbase have led to support slots with the likes of Lightspeed Champion, Robots In Disguise and Boy Kill Boy. Kicking the year off with a sold out headline show at Southampton Joiners, 2008 promises to be an exciting year for Openroom.

'Catchy synth lines, great hooks, pop sensibilities and enough alternative quirks to keep them above the ocean of bland. This is perfect songwriting.' - Southscene (August 2007)
'In 2007 OpenRoom proved to the world that ElectroRock was going strong. In 2008 Openroom are set , poised ready to be in every magazine across the country. This bands profile grows daily and it won't be long be a label picks them up.' - Gig Listings (Dec 2007)
'this is a brave and original debut from a band who, if they continue on this path, will hit the Radio One play list quicker than you can say Van Halen.' - MPORA.COM
