I own Kansas City's Best Pizza Restaurant, Waldo Pizza. One year we will win the popular vote in The Pitch's "Best Of." Until that day comes we will continue to win the editorial best of, which is reminiscent of George W winning the electoral college back in 2000 (not that I dwell every day on the results of that election). Yet we accept the editorial victory because we know that Waldo Pizza really is the people's choice (even if the people don't).
